Today, while I was coding something on Blogger, I got an alert from Google+ and went to check it. Apparently, Blogger had posted something about 10 years of Ad sense. But what called my attention, was the question of a girl. She wanted to know how to attract readers and get her blog known. Don't we all want to know that?
Well, so I went to check her Google+ profile to see her blog -perhaps I could give her some helpful tips. We all know how Blogger sucks infinitely when it comes to support and we all know that the Blogger community is so terrible it is as good as inexistent (on the other hand, the Wordpress is awesome!) -this girl could wait forever for an answer -and never get it!
She had her blog link on her profile. But her blog had absolutely nothing. Nothing! How do you want fame if you haven't even posted one stinky post yet? Quite difficult... Impossible!
Getting a successful blog can take years. This is the main reason why bloggers stop blogging: the feeling that no one reads your blog can be terrible. I know. But people DO read your blog. And to be successful, you must:
- Have a well written blog
- Have a frequent content update
- Have consistency on the things you talk about
- Connect with other bloggers (comment on other blogs, read other blogs, participate!)
- Patience!
